My schnauzers love fruits and vegetables. One of their favorite meals is fresh apples and carrots mixed in with their morning kibble (I use Taste of the Wild now and am transitioning them to Orijen). They get tons of vitamins and minerals along with a lot of satisfying chewing and crunching:
